Account & Access

I lost access to my account.

Use the Forgot Password flow on the login page. If that doesn't work, email support@dfsquest.com with your registered email address and we'll verify ownership.

How do I cancel my subscription?

Go to Settings → Billing and click Cancel Plan. Your access continues until the end of the current billing period — no partial refunds.

Can I transfer my account to another email?

Yes. Email support@dfsquest.com from your current registered address requesting the change, and include the new email.

Simulations & Optimizer

Why did my simulation fail?

Common causes: the slate locked before your sim completed, or a data ingestion delay. Check the simulation status badge in Sim Hub. If the status shows 'failed' for more than 10 minutes, email support with the Simulation ID shown in the URL.

How are projection confidence scores calculated?

Projections combine historical FPTS distributions, injury reports, Vegas lines, and positional usage trends. Confidence scores reflect sample depth and recent model calibration quality — lower scores mean less historical data for that player/matchup.

Can I run simulations on historical slates?

Yes. In Sim Hub, select 'Historical Sim' and pick any past slate. Historical sims do not count against your monthly iteration quota.

What is the difference between Contest Sim and Ownership Sim?

Contest Sim models the full GPP field to identify value plays that differentiate your lineups. Ownership Sim focuses on estimated field ownership percentages across player pools, useful for fading ownership in large-field tournaments.

Billing & Shards

What are Sim Shards?

Sim Shards are the in-app currency for premium simulation types. They are purchased through the Shard Shop and never expire. Free-tier accounts receive a limited monthly allocation.

Why haven't my purchased shards appeared?

Shard delivery is usually instant but can take up to 5 minutes after Stripe processes your payment. Check the Shard Shop for a purchase timeline. If shards are still missing after 10 minutes, email support@dfsquest.com with your purchase receipt.

Do unused shards roll over?

Purchased shards never expire and roll over indefinitely. Monthly free-allocation shards reset at the start of each billing cycle.

Which sports support the PBP replay visualizer?

All major sports in the dfsQuest catalog are supported, including NFL, NBA, NHL, MLB, Soccer, MMA, Golf, NASCAR, F1, Rugby, Tennis, Cricket, AFL, Handball, and Volleyball. Unsupported sports show an 'Open in App' prompt.

How do I share a replay?

On the replay page, click the Share button to generate a public link. Links expire after 7 days by default. You can revoke any active share link from Settings → Shared Replays.

Is dfsQuest legal in my state?

dfsQuest is an analytics and simulation tool — we do not host contests, accept wagers, or facilitate money movement between users. Whether participating in DFS contests on third-party platforms is legal in your jurisdiction is governed by local law.

How do I report a data privacy concern?

Email privacy@dfsquest.com with a description of your concern. We respond to all CCPA/GDPR-type requests within 30 days.
